Occupational Health & Safety Policy
Ezko Property Services Pty Ltd Company places the highest priority on providing a safe and healthy working environment.
Health and Safety must be regarded as a prerequisite to every task and every employee has an important duty and responsibility to ensure that their work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Objectives
Ezko Property Services Pty Ltd will continue to improve all aspects of Occupational Health and Safety. This will include a risk managed approach to:
workplace safety work practices relating to our system and those of contractors/subcontractors working on behalf of our company plant and equipment, and injury management.

We are committed to these broad objectives which are reflected in our specific measurable performance objectives and targets set by the Managing Director and managed and monitored through the OH&S Committee. These are then reported to the Managing Director for review and improvement.

Commitment
Ezko Property Services Pty Ltd ensures appropriately skilled employees through our
Managed training plan, we strive, through continuous improvement of all work related safety matters, to eliminate injury and illness in the workplace.
Our commitment to comply with the OHS legislation and regulatory requirements, supported by the associated Australian Standards, is reflected in our documented, managed and maintained OHS & IM system.

Communication and dissemination
This policy, supporting systems and all new regulatory requirements as they arise, are communicated to our employees through our OHS Committee and safety representatives.

Review
Our OHS Policy is available to all interested parties on request, provided to employees at induction, and reviewed annually along with our performance objectives and targets.
We have also developed and adopted an “Occupational Health and Safety Policy” that is based on the wellbeing of our employees, our clients and the general public and is therefore a major consideration in all our activities. The aim of our Occupational Health and Safety Policy is to encourage team effort between management, supervisors and employees in raising the level of safety at work.
A copy of the Occupational Health and Safety policy is posted to the notice board of each permanent workplace.

OH&S Committee
We encourage all employees to raise any safety concerns with the appropriate OH&S Committee responsible for the workplace, and believe that it is important that our Site Representative, represent our staff on the Customer’s OH&S Committee. The Site Representative will have the authority to commit us to participate in any OH&S initiatives and programs introduced by our client.

OH&S Training
Our Site Representative will liaise with his/her functional supervisor to ensure the training needs of their staff are identified and will co-ordinate OH&S training requirements with the Risk Manager using both external and internal training sources as necessary.

OH&S Plans
Please find below a copy of the outlined Health & Safety Management Plan. This plan will be expanded to meet the requirements of this contract and an individual site safety plan will be developed. This plan will form part of our Sites Operations Manual.
